One Month Until Hot Stove Weekend!

OK, now it's getting exciting.

Hot Stove Weekend is right around the corner. Can’t wait to see you all. Here’s some more detailed information for the weekend:

·         The Friday mixer at Upstate Bar and Grill (5418 NY-28, Cooperstown), from 7-9 PM, will be heavy apps and certainly enough for dinner.

·         Saturday presentations will start at 10 AM, at Village Hall, 22 Main St, Cooperstown.

·         Howard Bryant, 10 AM

·         Adam Darowksi, 11 AM

·         Free time from Noon-2PM

·         Todd Radom, 2 PM

·         After the presentations, at 4 PM, we’ll head to Doubleday Field for a catch, photo op, etc. Baseballs will be available, so if you want to have a catch, just bring a glove and a camera.

·         Pack night, Saturday, from 6-10 PM (Cooperstown Coworks, 6 Doubleday Court, adjacent to the Doubleday Field parking lot, or enter off Chestnut St).

§  Pizza and beer for all, so dinner is covered for ticket holders, but if you want to participate in Pack Night, you need to bring your own cards.

§  You can buy unopened boxes of packs on eBay. If you want to wait to buy until you get to Cooperstown, Yastrzemski Sports is the go-to place, but there’s also Dave and Adam’s for Topps products.

§  One of the nice things we’ve done at Cooperstown Pack Nights is the free table. Feel free to bring stuff from your collection that you don’t want and are willing to give away. One man’s  trash is another man’s treasure, and all that.

·         Cooperstown Bat Company tour, Sunday, Noon-1:30PM (3152 County Highway 11, Hartwick)

·         Friends of Doubleday merch sales. Let me know if you’d like to purchase any of these and I’ll bring them (or you can purchase on our website and choose local pickup)

§  Hall of Famer Signed 8” X 10” Photos. I’m going to run a Buy One, Get Others at Half Price deal.
