TOURS

Doubleday Field Will Open in April!

Tours of Doubleday Field are available to the public. A 1-hour session, including a talk on the history of the ballpark and an opportunity to go on the field, will be led by a local historian (Ted Spencer, former Curator at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Tom Heitz, former Librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Jeff Katz, former Mayor of Cooperstown and author, or Pete Henrici, SABR member /researcher and owner of Baseball Nostalgia). Tours will be available to groups, with a maximum of 20. (Larger groups should contact us at the email address below).

The tours, slated from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, will begin at the Grandstand entrance to Doubleday Field. There may some flexibility on times; it's totally dependent on the game schedule. 

Admission is $20 per person. Each tour member will receive an exclusive Friends of Doubleday logo pin, created by the foremost sports graphic designer in the country, Todd Radom.

Advance booking and payment is required. Contact us in advance at friendsofdoubledayfield@gmail.com to reserve your place for this special event.
