TOURS

Tours of Doubleday Field are available to the public. A 1-hour session, including a talk on the history of the ballpark and an opportunity to go on the field, will be led by a local historian (Ted Spencer, former Curator at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Tom Heitz, former Librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Jeff Katz, former Mayor of Cooperstown and author) or Pete Henrici, SABR member /researcher and owner of Baseball Nostalgia). Tours will be available to groups, with a maximum of 20. 

The tours, slated from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, will begin at the Grandstand entrance to Doubleday Field.

Admission is $20 per person. Each tour member will receive an exclusive Friends of Doubleday logo pin, created by the foremost sports graphic designer in the country, Todd Radom.

Advance booking and payment is required. Tours will take place in 2021, but COVID-19 safety measures will apply (masks, etc.) as long as such restrictions exist. Contact us in advance at friendsofdoubledayfield@gmail.com to reserve your place for this special event.
