David Roth was an editor at Deadspin and Vice Sports, and is now and has been a writer for many other places. He’s from New Jersey and lives in New York.

4 - 5 PM: David's Topps years, one special card, AND audience participation Remembering Some Guys.


Author of “Winning Ugly: A Visual History of the Most Bizarre Baseball Uniforms Ever Worn”, Todd Radom is an independent graphic designer specializing in branding for professional sports franchises and events, including Super Bowl XXXVIII and the 2009 NBA All Star Game. He has designed the graphic identities of MLB’s Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Angels. 

10 - 11 AM: Diamond Delights - Todd and Tom discuss the history of MLB through on-field apparel.


Brooklyn-based Jay Jaffe is a senior writer for FanGraphs, the author of “The Cooperstown Casebook” (Thomas Dunne Books, 2017) and the creator of the JAWS (Jaffe WAR Score) metric for Hall of Fame analysis. Prior to joining FanGraphs, he founded the Futility Infielder website (2001), was a columnist for Baseball Prospectus (2005-2012), and a contributing writer for Sports Illustrated (2012-2018). He has been a recurring guest on MLB Network and a member of the BBWAA since 2011.

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Jay tackles the hottest of Hot Stove subjects - the Astros, Red Sox and the cheating scandals that have rocked baseball. 


Tom Shieber is Senior Curator at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR)since 1981. Shieber is the recipient of the 2016 George Michael SABR Pictorial History Award and the 2018 Henry Chadwick Award. He has authored numerous articles on baseball history research at
